Note: The recipient mailing deadline for 1099-MISC forms in one of the following reporting situations is February 15:

  • Substitute dividends and tax-exempt interest payments reportable by brokers.
  • Gross proceeds paid to attorneys.

*If a deadline date falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline is automatically extended to the next business day.
