How to access the 941 Schedule B.

The Schedule B is used to report tax liability on a daily basis.  Semi-weekly schedule depositors are required to complete and attach the Schedule B to Form 941.


Procedure 1 (Setting up the 941 depositor information)

To prepare a Schedule B in the program, the payer must be set up as a Semi-Weekly 941 Depositor on the Manage Payer screen. If the payer is not setup as a monthly or weekly depositor, the Schedule B button will not appear on the 941 prep screens.

  1. Click on the Payer List button.
  2. Highlight the payer the 941/Schedule B is to be added to.
  3. Choose Semi-Weekly from the 941 Depositor section.
  4. Click Save.

Procedure 2 (Preparing a 941 Schedule B)

  1. Click on the Payer List button.
  2. Highlight the desired payer the 941 Schedule B is to be added to.
  3. Click on the Add Form button above the Form List.
  4. Select Federal in the Federal/State/Local drop down menu.
  5. Select the Form Name drop down arrow and choose Form 941/Sch B/ Sch D.
  6. Click on the Schd B button on the right.
Note: Yearli automatically enters each day's deposit for each month of the quarter. Yearli calculates the monthly totals (on line A of the form) and the quarterly totals (on line D of the form).
