Why are my payers not available for TIN Matching?

SYMPTOM

When at the TIN Matching screen, the desired payer is not available in the list.  

CAUSE

    • Only one TIN Matching request per payer can be submitted at a time.  Another TIN Matching request cannot be submitted until the prior TIN Matching request returns a status.
    • No recipients have been created for the payer.

    RESOLUTION

    Procedure 1 (How to get payer to show up for TIN Matching)

    1. Wait for the previous TIN Matching request for the desired payer to return a status.
    2. Create recipients for the desired payer.
